Tim Jones

Tim Jones is our main DJ and main man behind Tonker Parties!

Today Tim is first a foremost a DJ who loves music and moving the dance floor. Tim's DJing career began from humble beginnings in the underground dance clubs of Brighton on the UK's South Coast. Where, working for the fun of it and drinks, Tim DJ'd warm up slots and shared the decks with some of dance-music’s most treasured DJs, including Fat Boy Slim and John Digweed. Tim's break happened in 1998 in Australia, when a good friend promoted him to Sydney's super club Arq, he was invited to play the Mardi Gras Recovery Party and after word spread. Returning to London he was invited to play the Saturday main floor guest slot at London's long standing and famous gay club Heaven. From that time Tim has worked with and promoted nights in almost all the main dance venues in London, including past residencies at The Fridge Brixton, playing at the infamous Love Muscle and the after hours Rise clubs, plus Crash, Barcode, Growlhouse at Fire, and now The Eagle London. In 2008 Tim was invited to play a 9 hour set at The famous Real Bad party in San Francisco, the first non USA DJ to play that party. (click for info)

Wes B

DJ Bio

Wes was found abandoned in a field somewhere in the north of England in the mid 70's and raised on a diet of lipstick and eyeshadow by a pack of transvestite wolves. At the age of 12 the feral tranny Wes was captured by a group of leather clad homosexuals and forced to listen to nothing but Hi-Nrg and disco for 4 years. When he finally escaped at the age of 16, he was picked up whilst hitch-hiking by a group of bug-eyed ravers and taken to the hacienda. That evening the dj collapsed from a poppers overdose and Wes jumped over the dj booth and played the best set the clubbers at the Hacienda had ever heard in their lives. Rumour has it, Wes invented acid house in the late 80's whilst trying to communicate by emulating the sound of the wolves howls and the disco and hi-nrg music as these are the only noises he had ever heard. Wes is still unable to speak proper English so instead he communicates through the medium of acid house and techno at various sleazy, poppers fuelled parties around the U.K. such as Bastards, Hotwired, Discosodoma. Bender, Recon, Little Gay Brother, Drag Attack and Tranarchy
